19-year- old Serbian Australian model, Andrej Pejic, has emerged as a poster boy for fashion androgyny. His long, platinum blonde hair and feminine features caught the attention of, among others, Steven Meisel and Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Jean Paul Gaultier not only booked Pejic for his spring 2011 men’s show, he also cast him in his spring ad campaign alongside Czech supermodel Karolina Kurkova. Now it looks like Marc Jacobs may also be going the guess-the-gender route for his Marc by Marc Jacobs spring campaign. Pejic recently returned from shooting the ads in Marrakech with Juergen Teller alongside look-alike Latvian (female) model Ginta Lapina.

All contestants will receive a crochet bikini by Piret Collection (http://piretcollection.com/) for competing.

PRIZES:
The top 3 will advance to the semi-finals in July, receive $100 cash prize, & gift certificate from Spray Mobile Airbrush Tanning.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 years or Older to Enter. No Experience Necessary. Club Wear, Two-piece Swimsuits and High Heels required. No Thong or G-Strings allowed. No Lewd Acts will be allowed.

JUDGING:
Contestants will be judged individually and in group comparisons on shape, tone, symmetry, poise and overall beauty.

Body Condition & Overall Beauty – 50% of Score
Stage Presence & Personality – 40% of Score
Audience Popularity – 10% of Score

Images submitted for the bikini contest will be used for, and only for Bikini USA contest and its promotions. Bikini USA will not use these images for any other purpose than the contest. By submitting pictures you acknowledge and accept that you are the legal owner of the rights to said images. Any and all legal responsibilities will lye with said submitting persons. Dear Industry Friends,

We are recruiting bar, nightclub, and restaurant employees, that may be interested in entering an amateur kickboxing and MMA event, known as The Bartenders Brawl.

The Bartenders Brawl will be a “who’s who” of Chicago nightlife, infused with local celebrities and sports figures.    It is a sanctioned amateur event backed by KICK International that will be touring around the United States in 2011.    The bar and nightclub volunteers will be matched up by weight class, trained for 3-5 weeks by professionals, and then sent into the ring for bragging rights as well as a chance to fight on a national stage versus other winners from various cities… in early 2012.

The event originated in St. Louis in fall 2010, and will be making its way through Chicago this spring.    We are looking for:  bartenders, waitresses, promoters, managers, valet…or any other employee in the hospitality world.    Participants will be stepping in the ring on a Sunday night this upcoming May or June.

We are looking for individuals with minimal or no fighting experience as this is an amateur event.  This is a night for the true novice to come out and prove their worth in the ring.   This seems to play out well for the ex-athletes, the “always wanted to try it” types, and men and women just looking to have some fun!    As well, just because you volunteer or find someone to “fight”, doesn’t mean you or they will.   We must find their counterpart at their weight class, and experience, as well.
